A law firm based in Dorset has merged with a London-based practice to create a full-service law firm with a more than 400-strong combined workforce. Bournemouth-headquartered Lester Aldridge will merge with Central London-based Mackrell.Solicitors this year.
The combined firm will be known as Lester Aldridge incorporating Mackrell Solicitors and will have offices in London, Bournemouth, Southampton and Birmingham. The merger will take effect from September 2024.
Lester Aldridge is a full-service law firm with offices in Bournemouth, London and Southampton. The firm offers a wide range of specialist services across an array of practice areas, including dispute resolution, real estate, personal injury, corporate and commercial, private wealth and debt recovery.
Mackrell.Solicitors, which was founded in 1845 is a full-service law firm headquartered in Central London with a second office in Birmingham. The company operates both nationally and internationally, offering a wide range of practice areas, including commercial property, regulatory disputes, criminal defence, cross-border disputes, employment, immigration, insolvency and restructuring, residential developments and data protection.
The company has a significant global reach, having established Mackrell International - an international network of approximately 4,500 lawyers operating across 100 cities worldwide.
