Chief exec and MD complete MBO of TEDGroup

Luton-based TEDGroup’s chief executive and managing director have completed a management buyout (MBO) of the company, it has been announced this week.

TEDGroup specialises in UK holiday entertainment – the company includes TEDTalent, which provides entertainment acts to the leisure and events industry; TEDAV, which provides technical expertise such as lighting and sound for venues; TEDRetail, which advises on all aspects of retail from design through to distribution; and TEDLeisure, which provides leisure packages and support services to hotels, holiday parks, health clubs and leisure centres.

In 2001 the company was incorporated and has been owned by Qdos since 2007, Insider Media reported. The business has enjoyed a period of sustained growth as well as a diversification of its services over recent years.

This week Wolverhampton law firm FBC Manby Bowdler revealed that it had advised the business’ chief executive Robin Breese-Davies and managing director Amanda Donohue in completing an MBO of TED. The pair now intend to grow the company further, both in the UK and abroad.
