Aldwark Manor Hotel is for sale after its owner decided to undertake a general review of its business portfolio.
Qhotels is hoping to sell the four-star hotel and golf course for a figure in the region of £8 million.
The Aldwark, located in Alne near York, is not the only property for sale. Qhotels is to sell a further three hotels that it has stated are “no longer central to its future strategy”. These include Bridgewood Manor Hotel in Chatham, Kent; the Stratford Hotel in Stratford upon Avon; and the Park Royal Hotel, in Stretton near Warrington.
Christie & Co, a specialist hospitality adviser, is selling the four properties. The hotels will either be sold as a group or on an individual basis depending on the demand of buyers.
QHotels owns 21 individual hotels around the UK, which are used for conference and meeting venues, as well as short-break getaway locations. The Aldwark Manor is located in the North Yorkshire Moors and is primarily a relaxation destination, with access to local villages and moorlands, and around 100 acres of parkland surrounding the hotel itself.
Established in 2004, the business has established a strong reputation among key public and private sector customers in Northern Scotland and across the rest of the UK.
