Two hotels located in the Scottish Highlands have been put up for sale following the administration of the owners, Glenorchy Lodge Hotels Limited.
Administrator RSM Tenon has instructed Christie + Co to market the Tyndrum Lodge in Tyndrum, Crianlarich and Taynuilt Hotel close to Oban.
Both of the hotels were operated and managed by Glenorchy Lodge Hotels Limited for more than 20 years prior to the administration.
The 22-bedroom Tyndrum Lodge occupies a roadside setting on the A82, with views of the Scottish Highlands. It is popular with hikers thanks to its proximity to the beautiful walking trails of the West Highland Way.
The hotel comprises 22 bedrooms and a restaurant, Paddy’s Bar & Grill, which serves up local fish, game, meat and ales. Freehold ownership of the hotel is being offered at a guide price of £650,000, according to Property Magazine International.
The 16th century Taynuilt Hotel is a former coaching inn and comprises 12 en-suite bedrooms alongside two restaurants and two bars.
It is situated on one of Scotland's busiest tourist routes, the A85 Crianlarich to Oban road, between Loch Etive and Loch Awe. A guide price of £450,000 has been placed on the freehold ownership of the hotel.
