Adler and Allan, a Harrogate-headquartered environmental risk reduction services business, has acquired Utility Line, a grid connection specialist that focuses on commercial electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure.
Hertfordshire-based Utility Line was founded in 2021 and provides services ranging from the design, planning and installation of industrial, commercial and residential schemes through to energisation and handover.
The acquisition is Adler and Allan’s ninth in the past three years and is set to strengthen its position as a partner for EV projects, including the installation of charging systems at retail locations, large-scale public transport infrastructure and residential grid connections.
Adler and Allan Chief Executive Henrik Pedersen commented: "This strategic acquisition aligns perfectly with Adler and Allan's commitment to sustainable solutions and positions them as a key player in the rapidly growing EV sector. We're excited to welcome Utility Line to the team.”
"This acquisition strengthens our specialist EV and high-voltage capabilities and broadens the range of services we offer across all sectors. Together, we become the go-to partner for companies seeking to achieve Net-Zero carbon goals and fulfil their ESG commitments."
Utility Line Managing Director Nick Ravden added that Adler and Allan’s “established position in the utilities and transport and logistics markets, combined with its mission and service offerings” would provide “the perfect platform to integrate our capabilities and support even more companies on their renewable energy journey."
Adler and Allan have completed a range of acquisitions over recent years that have helped it develop a broad offering across risk reduction services. The firm’s most recent acquisitions include quality and engineering management solutions provider QEM Solutions and water and drainage specialist Public Sewer Services.
