Two law firms based in Cambridge have agreed to merge.
Harrison Clark Rickerbys (HCR) and Houlden Sweeney have joined forces to create one large legal practice at its Compass House office in Histon.
Partners Samantha Houlden and Roslyn Sweeney have joined the team, and have called on Natalie Minott, who specialises in property disputes, to join the firm as well.
Presently, HCR has more than 500 members of staff and partners in its offices located across the country in Cambridge, London, Birmingham, Thames Valley, Worcester, Cheltenham, Hereford and the Wye Valley.
Inger Anson, the head of office, said: “Finding the right fit is key and we are delighted to join forces with Samantha and Roslyn, and also to be welcoming Natalie, whose presence over the years in the Cambridge market place will boost HCR’s presence in and demonstrate the firm’s commitment to the area.”
Houlden further commented: “Our merger unites two firms who have a very similar ethos and who share a client-focused approach to providing excellent quality legal advice to individuals and businesses.
“The combined firm will strengthen and enhance the legal services we are able to provide to our clients, without compromising our values.”
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a well-established firm of solicitors, known for its substantial private client base and comprehensive range of legal services.
An established Northern Ireland IFA presents a unique opportunity with £500k in recurring revenue and an average client value exceeding £350k, offering a portfolio of highly profitable clients.
This is a prime opportunity to acquire a well-established Scottish IFA with a substantial £100m FUM, complete with advisers, support staff, and a fully operational office.
