A UK medical cosmetics and aesthetics medicine supplier has completed a management buy-out.
Knutsford-based mesoestetic UK, launched in 2007 by Adam Birtwistle from his home, has a client base focused on medical aesthetic and medical treatment clinics. It is the exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for the Spanish manufacturer, mesoestetic Pharma, which is globally renowned, in particular for its depigmentation range.
Other products tackle anti-ageing, acne and hair loss.
Adam’s wife Sandra, who joined the business in 2008, headed up a 25-strong team with a vision to become a leading distributor of professional and clinic based aesthetic products in the UK and Ireland.
The management buy-out, led by the company’s management team, was completed with the aid of Logros Advisory Partners (LAP) – for an undisclosed sum.
The team said that the move ensures the continuity and stability of the business while paving the way for future growth. Laura Platt has become the new managing director of the business.
