Business agent Christie + Co. has announced that it has been instructed to sell the Shop Smart convenience store and the adjacent takeaway, Munchies 2 Go, in Glasgow.
The Renfrew-based property is around six miles from Glasgow’s city centre. Renfrew is a popular area to live for commuters and also has excellent transport links, with good access to the M8 motorway.
The units are close to Renfrew’s main street and benefit from passing trade as well as business from the residential suburbs, according to Christie + Co.
The convenience store has modern fixtures and fittings and stocks a wide range of goods as well as having an alcohol licence. The takeaway was added to the business in summer last year and caters to the breakfast and lunchtime takeaway food market.
Offers over £65,000 are being sought for the leasehold interest with an annual rent of £15,600. There is around 19 years left on the lease.
Paul Graham, retail negotiator at Christie + Co's Glasgow Office, who is handling the sale, commented, “This business has been run by the current owner for the last twelve-and-a-half years, and has been placed on the market because the owner is retiring from the trade."
Long-established and TripAdvisor highly rated discerning food lover’s paradise offering fresh, and varied authentic fine dining menu.
