An auction date has been set for the sale of Brookhouse Business Centre by Blackburn and Darwen Council.
The business centre, in Blackburn’s Whalley Range, is comprised of six self-contained business units, of which five are currently fully let, and has a total floorspace of 8,000 square feet.
Brookhouse Business Centre generates annual income of £38,000 and is being auctioned by the council with a guide price of £375,000.
The site will go to auction at the Pugh North West Property Auction at Manchester’s AJ Bell Stadium on February 25.
Pugh Managing Director Paul Thompson commented: “Blackburn and Darwen Borough Council is focusing its resources on its other business assets designed to attract inward investment and create jobs, so Brookhouse Business Centre represents an excellent investment prospect and, not surprisingly, it is generating significant interest among potential buyers.”
“The development is in a well-established mixed commercial and residential area and is less than a mile from Blackburn town centre. There is also the opportunity to extend the development to create additional accommodation, subject to obtaining the required planning consent.”
Offering for sale a business that has developed a strong reputation providing pop-up and street food at sporting and other events and festivals, in additional to (semi) permanent pitches in London.
This company is a substantial independent funeral director, supporting its local community. Its key services include the arrangement and carrying out of burials and cremations and care of the deceased.
The business was set up by the current owners around 20 years ago, to provide a value for money one-stop solution to those looking to furnish multiple properties, typically in the social sector.
