The largest independent manufacturer of chocolate in Wales has been put up for sale, in a lot that includes acres of prime farming land.
Pemberton's Chocolate Farm is being sold as a going concern by Savills, with the high-end chocolate business complemented with 30 acres of producing farmland in the West Wales county of Carmarthenshire.
The estate features a five-bedroom fully-renovated farm house, with five reception rooms and a number of various other outbuildings and professional amenities. The guide price for the establishment is £1.2 million.
The business was set up in 1991, after the owners of the hill farm sought to diversify their capabilities. The chocolate farm now manufactures more than 200 products which are supplied to wholesalers and franchises across the UK.
Adding to its offerings, the farm is also a public visitor attraction, where people are able to explore the production facilities and watch demonstrations by the master chocolatiers on site. There is also a profitable on-site shop and café.
