The landmark Thistle Brighton Hotel has been put onto the market by its owners, with a price tag of £30 million.
Owners Curzon Hotels (Operator) Limited and The Curzon Hotel Properties Limited Partnership have asked CB Richards Ellis to market the hotel, which is located on Brighton's popular Kings Road.
A spokesman from CB Richard Ellis told The Argus that the hotel is 'performing well under the current challenging trading conditions and has the potential for future growth.'
The 210-bedroom hotel also comprises nine good-size meeting rooms, a swimming pool and a health and leisure club. The purchaser will also get a management contract with the Thistle brand which runs until 2032 included in the deal.
Manager of the Thistle Brighton said, “The management contract with Thistle runs for another 21 years so customers can look forward to receiving the usual high levels of service from the team here. I do not expect any changes to personnel.”
The hotel lies close to Brighton's well-known Palace Pier, which is also currently on the market for the first time in 25 years.
