One of the best-known and most successful micro-breweries in Shropshire has been put onto the market with an asking price of £299,995.
The leasehold sale includes the Ironbridge Brewery and brewery shop - which are located in an extremely attractive position on the banks of the River Severn in Ironbridge, along with the Old Fighting Cocks pub in Oakengates town centre.
The Old Fighting Cocks pub - which is described as a 'traditional pub specialising in real ale and good company,' also comes complete with its own small cinema, The Oakengates Picture House.
The brewery and shop was first opened by former IT consultant Dave Goldingay back in 2008 and prides itself on being 'brewers of fine real ales set in the heart of the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge in beautiful Shropshire.'
The brewery – which is located in the former Merrythought factory - has become well-known for some of its ales, including its Ironbridge Pale Ale, which won the Shropshire Brewers Challenge Trophy in 2009-2010.
Earlier this year, the brewery announced the launch of a new 'Craft Beer,' Ironbridge Craft Gold, a 4.3 per cent continental style beer stored in a keg.
