A recruitment company specialising in construction, engineering and logistics recruitment has acquired a counterpart headquartered in Cheshire.
Russell Taylor Holdings, located in Wirral, has bought Perpetual Partnerships, which was originally specialist engineering business Cygnet Group’s recruitment arm.
Boasting a £2 million turnover, Perpetual Partnership presently has 13 members of staff to its name and provides high-level placements in the manufacturing, architecture and IT industries. As part of the acquisition, financial backing will allow the company to act on a targeted growth plan which will aim to create 15 new jobs at its Knutsford site.
Its managing director and shareholder, Garry Rogerson, will continue to lead operations for Perpetual Partnerships.
He commented: “This is the beginning of a new chapter for the business and one that the whole team is looking forward to.
“We have had an excellent foundation over the last nine years under the Cygnet Group banner and being part of Russell Taylor Holdings now marks our next phase of growth.”
Russell Taylor Group, Recruit Right, Nexus People, NMS Recruit and Assist Resourcing all form subsidiary companies of Russell Taylor Group, which in total employs 457 members of staff to generates revenues of more than £113 million, as of 2018.
Chief executive of Russell Taylor Holdings, Ben Russell, said: “This is another exciting move for our expanding group of companies with the growth potential of Perpetual Partnerships making it an important part of our group’s position as a major force in the technical recruitment industry.
“The past couple of years have undoubtedly been the most challenging in our history, yet we have constantly stuck to our ideals centred on everything we believe… our vision of running a reputable recruitment company giving unrivalled service, staffed by a happy and fulfilled workforce and committed to the local community has never wavered.”
