Radisson Edwardian Group’s hotel in Manchester, which was its first upmarket hotel outside of London, has come onto the market.
Christie + Co has been mandated with the task of selling the five-star 263-bedroom hotel located on the site of the Free Trade Hall in Manchester.
Services at the hotel - which was described as “iconic and historic” by Martin Davis at Christie + Co – include two restaurants/bars, health and leisure facilities with an indoor swimming pool and gym equipment, and the facilities for conferences, meetings and functions. Special features include four penthouse suites, which offer views over the city, and 18 unique al-fresco suites with their own gardens.
Mr Davis, the director and location manager for the Manchester Christie + Co office, is confident of a successful sale. “We expect there to be significant interest from a variety of local and national investors. Radisson Edwardian continues to manage this profitable and robust business and there will be no disruption to guest services or staff as a result of the sales process,” he said.
A sale process began for the four-star Radisson Edwardian hotel in Canary Wharf, London, by CBRE Hotels two months ago, with a price tag of £37.5 million.
The successful purchaser will acquire a fast growing, leading independent recruitment agency, providing temporary, contract, an permanent positions and solutions across various sectors nationwide.
It’s a family business, known for its reliability, its good network and competitive pricing, working for well-established builders and civil engineering companies, enjoying an excellent reputation, predominantly in Manchester and the Northwest.
