Professional services firm Xeinadin Group has completed the acquisition of North Yorkshire accountancy firm Kenneth Easby Ltd in what is the consolidator's third deal of the year so far. Founded in 1949, Kenneth Easby Ltd is based in Bedale and also has an office in Northallerton.
The company provides financial and support services to the agricultural sector, high net worth individuals and owner managed businesses. Following the acquisition, the firm will continue to be lead by managing director Ken Graham.
Xeinadin was formed in 2019 through the merger of over 100 small and medium-sized UK and Ireland accountancy practices. Since then, the company has grown significantly, both organically and through acquisitions, and now has more than 130 locations across the UK and Ireland, over 40 service lines and in excess of 60,000 clients, largely owner-managers at small and medium-sized businesses.
Last year, Xeinadin received a significant minority investment from private equity firm Exponent, which has provided a boost to its acquisitive and organic growth plans. Following the investment, the company completed five acquisitions in 2022.
The acquisition of Kenneth Easby follows deals for Clear Vision Financial Management and Poppleton and Appleby earlier this year, as the group continues to capitalise on surging M&A activity in the professional services and wealth management industries.
Xeinadin Group CEO Derry Crowley said: "We are pleased to have Kenneth Easby Limited join the Xeinadin Group. The firm is renowned for the quality of its work and is focused on the core customer groups which we are. We are delighted to be working with Ken and the team."
Kenneth Easby MD Ken Graham added: "We are pleased to be part of Xeinadin Group. Being part of a larger group with the same ethos and focus as our own will not only benefit our customers through offering additional services but also our employees as we have wider resources and knowledge sharing at our fingertips."
