ICP, a global provider of content operations strategy and services based in London, has completed its first acquisition with the backing of private equity firm NorthEdge. The company has acquired marketing technology (martech) and content operations consulting firm Team 6ix.
The deal will bring Team 6ix’s martech strategists, consultants and experts into the ICP group, while enabling the target company to benefit from ICP’s global resources and expertise in content operations. The firm, including its leadership team, led by founder Daniel Rowe, will be integrated into ICP’s global management team over the coming months.
While the deal is ICP’s first strategic acquisition, it is the latest in a series of takeovers by NorthEdge portfolio companies. The acquisition is the tenth bolt-on deal completed by a NorthEdge portfolio company over the past 12 months, following investments into Antibody Analytics, Cezanne HR and Torbay Pharmaceuticals.
ICP chief executive Christopher Grakal said that the acquisition “marks the start of ICP’s next exciting phase of growth”, adding that: "The addition of Team 6ix strengthens us at a key moment: global businesses increasingly recognize new opportunities to unlock the full value of their marketing and content assets, across their content ecosystem.”
