BBS Law, a law firm based in Manchester, has said it will continue exploring further opportunities after completing the acquisition of a firm based in North West London. BBS Law has concluded the acquisition of Manuel Swaden for an undisclosed sum.
BBS Law, which focuses on building and sustaining legal partnerships with businesses and individuals, says that the acquisition will solidify its position and enhance the service it provides for its clients.
The expanded firm will have approximately 60 lawyers operating across offices in London and Manchester, giving it a greater capacity to meet its clients’ diverse legal needs. BBS Law said that the acquisition aligned with its commitment to providing clients with a comprehensive, tailored legal service.
Following the acquisition, Manuel Swaden, which is known for its expertise in private client and property matters, will trade as BBS Law. The firm brings a respected and highly skilled team of legal professionals, including partners Michael Swaden, Jeremy Manuel and Tamara Lester, who will move to BBS Law’s office in Finchley.
BBS Law Managing Partner Dov Black said: “We are thrilled to welcome the talented team at Manuel Swaden to the BBS Law family. Their expertise and reputation in property and private client matters align perfectly with our own strength in these areas of focus.”
He continued: “Following our successful acquisition of OGR Stock Denton around 18 months ago we are keen to carry on exploring opportunities where growth is of benefit to our clients.”
Jeremy Manuel of Manuel Swaden said that combining the firm's expertise with BBS Law's strong reputation in the industry "will not only benefit our clients but enhance our ability to deliver exceptional legal services.”
He added: “We share a passion for putting our clients at the heart of what we do, and we look forward to introducing our clients to the range of services that BBS Law offer for businesses and high net worth individuals.”
