Guernsey-based Hotel Bon Port has been placed on the market after entering administration.
Insolvency practitioner Jamie Toynton of Grant Thornton was brought in to act as the administrator for the hotel, situated on the south coast of Guernsey. Reasons for the move into administration were not provided.
The former manager of the hotel Carl Symes is to continue to operate Hotel Bon Port until the premises has been bought by the next owner.
Mr Toynton said of the property: "It is a beautiful, well-kept hotel in an awesome location and we would anticipate a great amount of interest."
He continued: "In the meantime, the hotel remains open for business and Carl Symes, former proprietor of the Fleur du Jardin, has been appointed to oversee its management. We are sure present and future guests will continue to enjoy their stays here."
The hotel has views over the Mouline Huet Bay, Petit Port Bay, Saints Bay and Harbour. The holiday also arranges activities for its guests including painting, pottery, walking and cycling, according to its website.
Its facilities include an outdoor pool and a nine-hole pitch and putt course.
