Danish-owned ITGL snaps up Swindon-based cybersecurity firm ISN

Technology services provider Intuitive Systems & Networks (ISN) has been bought by Portsmouth-based ITGL, part of Conscia.

Swindon-based ISN provides cybersecurity, managed network and software-defined services predominantly within the UK mid market space and to several public sector organisations.

ITGL provides extensive expertise in cybersecurity, collaboration and networking across the UK, with a strong presence in the public sector combined with experience in the commercial sector.

The acquisition will bolster ITGL’s presence in the commercial sector, increase its capabilities and coverage in the managed services space and strengthen cybersecurity offerings for both organisations.

For ISN, the purchase is also an opportunity to expand and accelerate opportunities for its employees.

Operating as 'ISN, part of Conscia', ISN’s 40-strong employees will continue to work out of the company’s base in Royal Wootton Bassett, while running in close partnership with the ITGL teams in Oxford and Portsmouth. It will bring the overall headcount for the newly merged organisation to 130.

It comes less than a year since ITGL was bought by Conscia, a provider of cybersecurity and networking services for mission-critical IT infrastructure in large European organisations, to spearhead the latter’s entry into the UK.
Both parties, since then, have worked on a ‘Fit for Growth’ programme to help ITGL strengthen its market position. The ISN acquisition is part of this growth strategy.
