A hotel in Helston, Cornwall, which has been frequented by A-list celebrities including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, is back on the market again with a £1 million price reduction.
Nansloe Manor hotel was put up for sale in August last year for £2,950,000, before being taken off again. Savills has this week announced it is for sale once more, with a guide price of £2,090,000.
The hotel closed at the end of December 2012 and the owners David and Betty Carr are now seeking to retire, Savills’ Martin Rogers said.
“Despite the success of the business, our clients now wish to retire. Though the hotel is not open at present it is ready to trade and could be operational immediately,” he said.
Nansloe Manor surreptitiously welcomed Brad Pitt and Matthew Fox during the filming of zombie action film World War Z in Falmouth in 2011, with Brad’s partner Angelina joining him for a short visit during his stay.
After buying the grade-II listed, seventeenth century house the Carrs refurbished and refitted the entire property, adding a private cinema, small spa and gym with an exercise pool. The hotel also has 15 bedrooms, suites and new restaurant, as well as almost five acres of landscaped gardens and grounds.
An established, award-winning care home with nursing, that is located in a popular East Midlands town and has come to market for the first time so that our client can retire.
For sale a lucrative portfolio of residential care homes conveniently clustered in the Northwest of England, offering residential and dementia care.
A profitable care home with nursing located in an East Midlands town. Well-presented and extended accommodation with 57% of the ground floor bedrooms being ensuite.
