Derbyshire-based roofing specialist Permaroof has said that it will target acquisitions after securing investment from UK private equity firm Owner Venture Managers. The investment will enable Permaroof to target further growth over the coming years as it looks to consolidate its position within the UK market.
The company is already the leading importer and distributor of residential EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) roofing products for the UK’s trade and direct markets, having experienced significant growth since it was established in 2000 as a subsidiary of PermaGroup.
Over recent years, the company has expanded its range to offer products including skylights, rooflights, artificial grass and metal fence panels. With the new investment, Permaroof aims to target organic growth through greater market penetration, further expand its product range and acquire complementary businesses.
The investment from Owner Venture Managers comes alongside support from Investec Capital Solutions and Beechbrook Capital. The M&A and private equity team at RSM supported shareholders throughout the process of identifying possible investors, negotiating the terms of the deal and project management on the transaction through to its completion.
