Law firm Mills & Reeve has boosted its health and social care M&A team with the appointment of Principal Associate Dan Braithwaite (pictured above). The appointment brings significant M&A experience into the practice, with Braithwaite joining following over 11 years as part of Pinsent & Masons’ healthcare division and having spent four years prior to that at Craegmoor and the Priory Group’s in-house legal teams.
Braithwaite has worked on a wide range of transactions, involving major providers of mental health, life sciences, adult residential care, learning disability services, children’s care and education, fostering services, social housing and fertility services.
He will work alongside Mills & Reeve health and care M&A lead partner Julian Smith, Natalie Wade and Paul Krivosic. The team will work with clients undertaking corporate projects including acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals and shareholder collaborations in the health and care industry.
