Property developer Taggart Homes has announced that it is looking to acquire UK house building companies and new land for development as part of its nationwide expansion plans. The company was launched in the UK 2018 and, since then, has acquired housing schemes in the Midlands and south.
The firm has announced plans for 11 new sites delivering 400 new-build homes. Developments are currently underway in Nottinghamshire and Oxfordshire, while new sites are located in Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and Lincolnshire.
The company has also confirmed deals for several design-and-build social housing projects and stated its intent to acquire land in the South and Midlands with a view to delivering new housing projects.
Taggart’s plans also include acquiring existing house building firms within the UK, which it will look to merge into and grow within its brand.
Taggart Homes CEO Michael Taggart says: “The South of England, with its varied geography, close proximity to the picturesque Cotswolds and the capital offers plenty of opportunity and there is scope to deliver key developments for a range of buyers from families, to first-timers and downsizers.
“Taggart Homes is advancing steadily in the UK and have ambition to continue growing and evolving. We will be looking to link up with landowners and corporate financial advisors with sites for sale, and we wish to talk to business owners who would be open to forging partnerships, with a view to being incorporated into Taggart Homes.”
