Since our last update, the following businesses have been confirmed as having fallen into administration. All dates indicate when the administration was announced and not necessarily the dates on which administrators were appointed.
Transafe Logistics Limited – April 16
Transafe Logistics Limited, a logistics company based in Swadlincote, fell into administration earlier this month, with Richard Bloomfield and Neil Money of FRP Advisory appointed as joint administrators.
The haulage operator had a license authorising it to operate 58 lorries from its bases in Grimsby and Doncaster, as well as seven vehicles out of its operating centre in Swadlincote.
In accounts for the year to March 31 2023, the company had fixed assets valued at £45,301 and current assets valued at £1.2 million. However, its net liabilities at the time amounted to nearly £78,000.
Glenfield Storage Solutions Limited – April 16
Glenfield Storage Solutions Limited, a Leicestershire-based commercial storage business, fell into administration earlier this month, with Anthony Collier and Simon Farr of FRP Advisory appointed as joint administrators.
The company collapsed as a result of difficult trading conditions, including “escalating cost pressures” and prolonged underuse of its commercial storage facility. These factors caused the business to become unprofitable and it was unable to continue operating.
All 16 of the company’s staff were made redundant upon the appointment of the joint administrators, who have appointed Sanderson Weatherall LLP to oversee the sale of the firm’s plant and machinery.
In accounts for the year to December 31 2023, the firm’s fixed assets were valued at slightly over £876,000 and current assets at £1.5 million, with total equity amounting to £277,519.

Stones4Homes Limited – April 16
Stones4Homes Limited, a York-based supplier of decorative aggregates and landscaping products, fell into administration earlier this month, with Emily Oliver and Dean Nelson of PKF Smith Cooper appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to October 31 2023, the company’s fixed assets were valued at around £277,000 and current assets at £1.5 million, with net assets amounting to slightly over £881,000.
Highweald Wines Limited – April 16
Highweald Wines Limited, a winery in Northamptonshire, fell into administration at the beginning of April, with Andrew Knowles and Liz Welch of Leonard Curtis appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to March 31 2024, the company’s fixed assets were valued at slightly over £8 million and current assets at around £3.1 million. However, its net liabilities at the time exceeded £970,000.
Power Supply Projects Limited – April 17
Power Supply Projects Limited, a provider of bespoke electrical engineering solutions to the rail electrification and electrical supply industry markets, fell into administration earlier this month, with Benjamin Wiles and David Riley of Kroll Advisory appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to December 31 2023, the company’s total assets were valued at around £2 million, with total equity amounting to £128,586.
Amherst Homes Limited – April 17
Amherst Homes Limited, a residential construction developer based in Cambridge, fell into administration earlier this month, with Glen Carter and Gordon Thomson of RSM UK Restructuring appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year ending November 30 2023, the company’s fixed assets were valued at around £2 million and current assets at £6.1 million, with net assets amounting to approximately £3.5 million.
Intelligent Workspaces Limited – April 17
Intelligent Workspaces Limited, a workspace technology solutions provider based in Greenford, fell into administration earlier this month, with Robert Ferne and David Rubin of Begbies Traynor appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to March 31 2024, the company reported turnover of slightly over £2 million, up from around £828,000 the year prior, while post-tax profits increased from approximately £70,000 to nearly £220,000.
At the time, its fixed assets were valued at around £640,000 and current assets at £582,000, with net assets amounting to slightly under £500,000.
Limavady Printing Company Limited – April 17
Limavady Printing Company Limited, a printing company based in Derry, fell into administration last week, with Ronan Duffy and James Green of McCambridge Duffy appointed as joint administrators.
In accounts for the year to March 31 2024, the company’s fixed assets were valued at around £1.6 million and current assets at £622,000, with net assets standing at £410,000.
Talent84 Limited - April 22
Talent84 Limited, a multidisciplinary recruitment agency based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, fell into administration earlier this month, with Greg Whitehead of Northpoint Associates appointed as joint administrators.
In the year to March 31 2023, the company reported turnover of £25.8 million, up slightly from around £24.9 million a year earlier. However, it fell from a pre-tax profit of around £442,000 to a loss of nearly £113,000.
At the time, the company’s fixed assets were valued at £138,240 and current assets at £4.7 million, with net assets amounting to around £485,000.
LHP Solutions Limited - April 22
LHP Solutions Limited, a property developer based in Glasgow, fell into administration last week, with Edward Avery-Gee and Daniel Richardson of CG Recovery appointed as joint administrators.
The administration comes after a winding-up petition was issued against the company earlier this month by Together Commercial Finance Limited, the holder of a qualifying floating charge against the firm.
In accounts for the year ending January 31 2024, the company’s total assets were valued at slightly over £2 million, however, its net liabilities at the time stood at close to £262,000.
