Milton Keynes healthcare company Screenetics UK entered administration this week (2 June).
A London Stock Exchange statement confirmed that Paul Flint and Brian Green of KPMG have been appointed to handle the administration of Screenetics, a subsidiary of Ultrasis.
Immediately after the appointment of the administrators they oversaw the sale of certain parts of the distressed business as well as the disposal of its assets.
ToHealth stepped forward to buy the assets and some of the business. Mr Flint commented on the administration and subsequent sale: "We are pleased to have concluded a sale of certain of the business and assets of the Company and in the process, protected those 16 staff who were part of a TUPE transfer to the purchaser. We wish ToHealth every success in the future.”
He added that the administration also meant that 34 jobs were able to be saved as a result of ToHealth stepping in.
Ultrasis provides “technology-driven healthcare”, designed to improve people's well-being on a physical, psychological and social level.
Screenetics focused on providing health and well-being services to private corporate organisations. It provided advice on lifestyle changes to help improve the health and motivation of staff.
