A buyer is being sought for a still-trading care home in Wales after entering administration.
Sant Tysilio Nursing Home, located in Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, offers residential, nursing and dementia care.
The home received a winding-up petition on 29 May this year, but was interceded by a relative of one of the residents who raised a court injunction preventing closure.
Family members were informed of the home's financial difficulties last week.
The company, Sant Tysilio Nursing Home Ltd, was placed in the hands of joint administrators Sarah O'Toole, Ryan Grant and Anne O'Keefe of AlixPartners Services UK on 4 August 2015.
The administrators subsequently brought in Careport Advisory Services Limited to provide care support to the management team to help maintain daily residential care. It was concluded that the home was overstaffed and 18 employees were made redundant following a review from the management and CarePort.
Ryan Grant of AlixPartners commented on the situation: "Our focus now is on securing a buyer for this high quality home and we welcome expressions of interest. In the meantime, we will continue to ensure that all residents experience high standards of care."
Established in 1986 the nursing home has 78 en-suite bedrooms and four lounges. It is believed there are still 40 residents still in the facility, including some suffering from severe dementia.
